Is drawing such pictures permissible?

We have not ascertained the true nature of these cartoon images, but a person is accountable for their life, youth, and wealth. Engaging with these images is a waste of time unless it serves a benefit. Some scholars have permitted them for educating children, likening them to permissible dolls, and some have allowed electronic drawings that do not contain anything that violates faith or morals, based on the distinction between images that cast no shadow and those that do.

If the drawings do not contain any of the aforementioned elements, then some scholars have stated their permissibility, though it is better to avoid them, as the original ruling is the prohibition of drawing images of animate beings. However, we issue a fatwa permitting the production of purposeful cartoon films and the drawing of anime that benefits Muslim youth and diverts them from watching bad and immoral types.
