There is no objection to a consulting engineer agreeing with a contractor to guide him to a tender in exchange for a fee, provided that this is not part of his obligatory work, and that it does not harm the owner of the office or cause him to miss out on a benefit, and that the engineer does not deceive or mislead the owner, and that he does not inform him of competitors' prices, and that the brokerage fee is known.
