Is the money with which a father prepares his daughter for marriage, if it comes from the bank, lawful or unlawful?

Consuming usury is among the major sins, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, its giver, its scribe, and its two witnesses. Nevertheless, dealing with someone who consumes usury is permissible because what is forbidden in their wealth is only the usurious increase, while the rest of the wealth is lawful if its origin was lawful. Wealth acquired through unlawful means is forbidden only to the one who acquired it. As for someone who takes this wealth from them through a permissible means (such as an allowance or a gift), it is lawful for the one who takes it. Therefore, it is permissible to propose to the girl even if her father deals with usury, because the sin of unlawful wealth falls only upon her father. Her father should be advised to abandon usury.
