What is the ruling on marrying a young Muslim man residing in Europe who obtained its citizenship through a fake marriage to a foreign woman?
This question has two possibilities. The first: the validity of their marriage to your daughters under the terms of this marriage. It is valid if it fulfills its conditions, pillars, and regulations. The second: the ruling on someone who entered into marriage in this manner—is it permissible to marry him to someone else? This is detailed as follows: If his first marriage was valid, or if it was invalid but he was ignorant of its invalidity, then there is no harm in marrying him off if he is a person of religious commitment and good character. However, if he entered into an invalid marriage with knowledge of its invalidity and consummated it, then he is an adulterer, and it is not permissible to marry him off except after his repentance.
