Is it permissible to make a small satin bag embroidered with thread and satin ribbons to be used as a cover for the Mushaf, and is it permissible to sell it?

It is permissible to make a bag or cover from satin or other materials for the Mus'haf (copy of the Quran), as there is no evidence to prohibit it. This is considered an act of venerating and preserving the Mus'haf. Some scholars have gone further, permitting a silk pouch for the Mus'haf to preserve and carry it, out of veneration for it and because it is easily portable.
