Pork is impure, and it is absolutely forbidden to use any part of it, based on the Qur'an, , and scholarly consensus. If it is confirmed that pork fat is present in any product, then its use becomes forbidden. It is necessary to verify or have a strong presumption of the presence of pork fat; mere rumors are not sufficient, as the default rule for things is permissibility until prohibition is proven. It is better for a Muslim to avoid anything about which they have doubts.
