Pork is impure, and it is absolutely forbidden to use any part of it, based on the Qur'an, Sunnah, and scholarly consensus. If it is confirmed that pork fat is present in any product, then its use becomes forbidden. It is necessary to verify or have a strong presumption of the presence of pork fat; mere rumors are not sufficient, as the default rule for things is permissibility until prohibition is proven. It is better for a Muslim to avoid anything about which they have doubts.
