Does a Muslim daughter inherit from her non-Muslim mother, who willed all her money to her to care for her sister, given the existence of the deceased's husband, two daughters, and a brother? And is she entitled to take one-third of the money as a bequest, with the remainder divided among the heirs?

It is permissible for a Muslim to accept the will of a disbeliever, and a disbeliever's will to a Muslim is valid. If the bequest is within the limits of one-third of the estate or less, it is executed. If it exceeds one-third, the excess portion depends on the heirs' approval. If they approve, the legatee receives it; otherwise, she receives only one-third. The money must be disposed of according to Sharia, not man-made law.
