Do disobedient monotheists die in Hellfire before entering Paradise, as Ibn Rajab mentioned that "some of them die in Hellfire"?

Disobedient monotheists will enter Hell according to their sins, and the conditions of their torment therein will vary. Some will be taken by the Fire up to their ankles, some up to their knees, and some up to their necks. These are the ones for whom Allah grants permission for intercession.

The dwellers of Hell who are its true inhabitants will neither die therein nor live. As for the disobedient monotheists who committed major sins, Allah will cause them to truly die therein after they have been tormented for the duration He willed. Then they will emerge from it like charcoal after intercession, and they will be cast upon the rivers of Paradise and will grow like the seed that sprouts in the debris carried by a flood. Then their strength will grow, and they will return to their homes in Paradise.
