Is a lack of patience with those around us a sign of weak faith?

Lack of patience is a sign of weak faith. Allah has commanded patience and praised those who possess it in many verses, among them His saying, "And whoever is patient and forgives – indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] firm resolve," and His saying, "Indeed, Allah is with the patient." Patience is the best gift given to a human, and it is half of faith. Patience is among the highest stations, its origin being repentance, then patience. It is obligatory when facing disobedience to Allah, in performing His obligations, and in enduring painful decrees.
