It is not permissible to publish advertisements for the aforementioned company due to their inclusion of prohibited elements, and this constitutes cooperation in sin and aggression. As for one who is afflicted with placing them, their profit therefrom takes the ruling of mixed money, and they are obligated to dispose of it in proportion to the percentage of prohibited advertisements. Regarding pirated software, the we adopt is that copyright is considered absolute. Therefore, it is not permissible to use pirated software to create applications unless an original copy is obtained or activated. The profit from using pirated software is lawful, but it is necessary to guarantee the rights of the software owners to the extent of the benefits they missed out on, and this is to be estimated by specialists and experts.
