What is the legal ruling regarding a fetus who died in his mother's womb at the age of nine months and was not washed, shrouded, named, or prayed over, and what must be done now?

It is not obligatory to name a fetus that was not born alive, nor to pray over it, according to the more preponderant opinion. However, it is obligatory to wash it, shroud it, and bury it.

What the fetus's mother sees in a dream has no bearing on the matter. It is from the whisperings of Satan, and she should do what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded for one who sees something displeasing in their dream: "Let him spit to his left three times, and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, for indeed it will not harm him."
