The mere presence of some positives in something harmful is not enough to deem it permissible. Alcohol, for instance, was forbidden because its harms outweighed its benefits. Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) poses risks to a person's creed and religion, which is why specialists have warned against it. There is no objection to benefiting from the sciences of non-Muslims that are useful to Muslims, nor from benefiting from what non-Muslims say that aligns with the truth. However, this is not the case with the aforementioned programming.
