What should a young, beautiful, committed girl do when young men propose to her, but her father rejects them, and she remains unmarried until now, and as she gets older, the gazes of young men towards her increase, along with her desire for marriage, fearing temptation for herself?

There is no harm for a woman to seek marriage with a righteous man. She must be patient and chaste until marriage becomes easy for her. What helps in this regard is frequent fasting, lowering the gaze, covering the face when going out, associating with righteous women, occupying time with beneficial deeds, and persistent supplication while having a good opinion of Allah. Supplications are answered as long as one does not hasten, and they have three states: either the supplication is granted quickly, or it is stored for him in the Hereafter, or an equivalent amount of evil is averted from him.
