The issue of jinn speaking to humans and vice-versa is established and well-known. Jinn can appear in human form and speak with people, as happened with Abu Hurayrah. Muslim narrated a hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him) which clarifies that the jinn in Madinah embraced Islam, and that Muslims should address the jinn and warn them to leave the house if anything is seen from them. Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that a Muslim should interact with jinn as they would with humans, enjoining good, forbidding evil, and calling to Allah. However, it is advised not to deal with jinn due to the great risks and serious evils involved, as the consequences of dealing with them are often dire. It is recommended to occupy oneself with what benefits the Muslim.
