Scholars state that the meaning of Allah's name "As-Samad" is the Master whose mastery has reached its utmost, meaning He has attained the pinnacle of perfection. Samadiyya (the attribute of being As-Samad) signifies Allah Almighty's perfection in all His attributes. He is the Master, the Noble, the Magnificent, the Clement, the Rich, the Compeller, the All-Knowing, and the All-Wise, who has perfected Himself in all these attributes.
