What is the ruling on earning profit from the internet through displaying only textual advertisements (such as hotel offers) if the company (AdSense) displays explicit pictorial advertisements? And how can one earn profit from the internet through permissible methods that are suitable for Islam?

The ruling on placing advertisements on a page or website depends on the possibility of filtering them to be free of -prohibited elements, such as forbidden images or advertisements for usury, alcohol, and unlawful entertainment venues. If this can be avoided, then there is no harm in earning from permissible advertisements. As for the second question, it is outside our specialization.
