The answer

You are on the right path, dear questioner. There is absolutely no sin for which Allah does not accept the repentance of His servant, in matters between the servant and Allah. Even the sorcerer, who is described as an unbeliever, Allah accepted the repentance of Pharaoh's sorcerers. Ibn Qudamah, in "Al-Mughni," explicitly stated that Allah has not closed the door of repentance to any of His creation, and whoever repents to Him, He accepts their repentance, and we know of no disagreement on this. Thus, repentance between the servant and their Lord is accepted. Scholars have only differed concerning the demand for repentance from a sorcerer before the worldly punishment is carried out. So repent and rejoice, and beware of despairing of Allah's mercy.
