A person proposed to marry my daughter. After performing Istikhara prayers for a week, I saw in my dream a small, heart-shaped golden ring, designated for children, lying on the ground surrounded by pins. When a Pakistani worker saw me, he asked me about it, so I hid the ring and gave him some of the pins. I ask about the interpretation of this dream in conjunction with the Istikhara.

The sunnah (definition) of Istikhara (seeking guidance) does not necessitate seeing a clarifying dream; rather, one should proceed with what they intend to do after performing it. If they are successful in executing it, then let them be content with what has been decreed for them. If they are turned away from it, then goodness lies elsewhere. The Muslim supplicates during their Istikhara with the well-known Istikhara supplication, and they should then feel at ease in their heart with what transpires afterward.
