Is it true that the preacher Ali Al-Jifri is a descendant of the Household of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt)?

Officials do not inquire about people's lineages. The criterion with Allah is piety, not lineage. Allah elevated Bilal through faith and piety, and debased Abu Lahab due to his disbelief. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "And he whose deeds slow him down, his lineage will not speed him up." On the day of the Conquest of Mecca, the Prophet delivered a sermon clarifying that people are of two types: a righteous, pious person who is honorable with Allah, and a wicked, miserable person who is insignificant to Allah. All people are children of Adam, made from dust. Allah Almighty said: "O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you." The Prophet, during his Farewell Pilgrimage, said: "O people, your Lord is one, and your father is one. Verily, there is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab, nor for a red person over a black person, nor for a black person over a red person, except by piety." And upon the revelation of Allah Almighty's saying: "And warn your closest kindred," the Prophet said: "O people of Quraish, buy your souls; I cannot avail you anything from Allah." He repeated this to the general Quraish and to individuals from his closest relatives, such as his uncle Al-Abbas, his aunt Safiyyah, and his daughter Fatimah.
