Is it necessary to restrict the Tribes to being from the offspring of Jacob's sons (peace be upon them), but before the Torah and before Moses (peace be upon him), based on the premise that they were not Jews and that the prophets of the Children of Israel after Moses ruled by the Torah?

Scholars have differed regarding the meaning of "Asbat" (tribes/descendants). Some have gone to the extent of saying that they were the direct sons of Ya'qub (Jacob), while others have said that they were like the tribes among the Arabs, and that they were the progeny of Ya'qub. The correct view is that the Asbat are the progeny of Ya'qub from the Children of Israel, who were divided into tribes from the time of Musa (Moses), each tribe being a great nation. Not all of the Asbat were prophets; rather, there were prophets among them, and prophethood among them appeared from the time of Musa (peace be upon him). It has not been established that the brothers of Yusuf (Joseph) were prophets.
