Is the Imam's supplication for the couple after the engagement and marriage contract considered an innovation (bid'ah)?

It is recommended to supplicate for the couple after the marriage contract, asking for blessings and goodness, following the example of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. One should say: "May Allah bless for you both, and may He bless upon you both, and may He unite you both in goodness." Raising the hands during this supplication is recommended, except in situations where the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not raise his hands.
