A youth is one who has reached puberty but has not exceeded thirty years of age, and this is the most correct and chosen opinion according to Al-Nawawi. It is also said: he is called a youth until thirty-two years of age, and it is also said until forty years of age. The term "youth" is also applied to one who has reached puberty until he completes thirty.
