What is the reason for the precedence of the male in the verse of theft and the precedence of the female in the verse of adultery?

The people of knowledge have stipulated that the precedence of the male thief over the female thief, and the female adulterer over the male adulterer in the Quranic verses, is due to prevalence and multitude. Theft is more common among men, and the motives for adultery are more prevalent among women. Therefore, the precedence was appropriate.
