Is a sister entitled to demand the return of her brother's wife to her home, and is a brother entitled to house his wife in his parents' home without consulting them?
If the house is divided among the heirs according to the legal shares, then the brother has the right to house his wife in his share, and he does not have the right to house her in his sisters' shares except with their consent.
However, if the house is undivided, then the sisters do not have the right to exclusively benefit from it without the brother, except with his consent. He has the right to benefit from it himself or by housing his wife in it.
The brother has the right to demand the division of the house if possible, or to demand its sale if division is not possible, so that he may take his share of the inheritance.
It is advisable to be patient with the brother's wife and treat her kindly as long as her presence does not cause harm, in order to preserve affection and maintain kinship ties.
