Is what the Jews believe about Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem, and her being Jacob's wife and the mother of Joseph and Benjamin, true, and if not, who is Rachel?

There is no definitive religious text concerning this matter, and most of what is narrated about it is taken from the Isra'iliyyat (Judeo-Christian traditions). Ibn Kathir mentioned that Rachel died after giving birth to her son Benjamin, and Jacob buried her in Bethlehem, and he made stones over her grave, which is known today as Rachel's Tomb.
