What is the optimal course of action for treatment or discernment upon affliction with harm (sihr, possession, spell, evil eye, envy) when the source is uncertain, especially with the presence of visions such as fighting with snakes, and seeing a heavy bird that was caught, and in both its wings were found two sacs, one liquid and the other non-liquid, and they were buried?

We advise the afflicted person to fear Allah, observe the obligatory duties, and recite the prescribed remembrances (adhkar). They should also beware of Satan's whispers and accusing others without proof. Furthermore, we advise them to consult a doctor to diagnose their illness. If it is not organic, then they must consistently perform Ruqyah on themselves with the Quran and the prescribed supplications, or go to someone trustworthy in their religion to perform Ruqyah for them according to Islamic law, for every illness has a cure. As for the dreams they see, they are not to be given importance. They should seek refuge in Allah from their evil and not speak about them.
