Should a Muslim present Islam to his Mormon Christian friend, and how is that done?

Inviting people to Islam is one of the greatest acts of nearness [to Allah], but it must be based on clear understanding and knowledge of Islamic rulings, the condition of those being invited, and the means of da'wah. Discussions about religions should only be engaged in by those firmly grounded in knowledge to avoid weakness when facing misconceptions. It is advisable to busy oneself with seeking شرعي (Islamic) knowledge and to communicate with specialized callers [to Islam] who focus on inviting these groups. There is no friendship between a Muslim and a disbeliever.

The Mormons are a Christian sect that branched off from Christianity. They believe in God as having a human form, that Christ created the earth, and they secretly permit polygamy. They forbid adultery, alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and tea, and they require their followers to pay a tenth of their wealth. Their doctrine is no less disbelief than that of their predecessors; rather, they have added further delusions and fabrications to it.
