What is the ruling on applying the attribute "being" (kā'in) to Allah, may He be glorified?

It is permissible to report about Allah Almighty with anything that does not imply imperfection, and is not a bad name, but rather a good name, or something that is not bad. It is good to report about Allah when there is a need for it, such as reporting about Allah's existence in eternity and that He has always been and will always be in existence. It has been narrated in the tradition from the predecessors that the attribute "Al-Ka'in" (the Existent) was applied to Allah Almighty, meaning the existing and abiding One. However, if this word suggests imperfection in its context, or audacity towards Allah's station, then it is forbidden.
