Does documenting a loan process from an usurious bank and insuring a car make me one of those who consume, record, and witness usury, given that these are merely examples and academic exercises?
There is no harm in studying materials that mention usury (riba) and how it is practiced, provided that the intention is to know evil in order to avoid it and be wary of it, and not to practice it or advocate for it. Restricting this information or training on it is not considered an act of usury or an aid to it, nor is it intended to be practiced in the future. Therefore, there is no sin upon you, and one must be wary of whispers (waswas) and seek refuge in Allah from them.
