Why will Jesus, peace be upon him, descend at the end of time rather than any other prophet, even though this is one of the ten major signs of the Hour?

Among the wisdoms behind the descent of Jesus (peace be upon him) is the refutation of the Jewish fabrication in their claim that they killed and crucified him, as confirmed by Allah’s saying: "And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them." (Quran 4:157) And among them: the fulfillment of Allah's promise and the confirmation of the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the miracle of Jesus (peace be upon him). His descent is also one of the ten major signs of the Hour mentioned in the Hadith of Muslim: "The Hour will not be established until you see ten signs before it: the smoke, the Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from its west, the descent of Jesus son of Mary, Gog and Magog, and three landslides: one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula, and finally a fire that will emerge from Yemen, driving people to their place of gathering."
