Among the things that help preserve time and occupy it with acts of obedience is to set for yourself an academic, da'wah (preaching), and educational project during the holiday, such as completing a book on fiqh under the guidance of a scholar, or perusing biographical books and seerahs like "Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'" by al-Dhahabi. It is also recommended to sit with scholars and visit them frequently, and to adopt righteous company that guides to good and assists in it.
