Are the hands sent forth first, then clasped after the opening takbir, or are they clasped immediately after the takbir?

It is better for the worshipper to begin clasping his hands immediately after the تكبير (takbir), and there is no need to let them hang down then clasp them; because bringing the hands down from being raised to being beneath the chest is better than letting them hang down then raising them again.
