What is the ruling on elongating the sounds in the transitional takbirat, especially before sitting for the tashahhud?

The ruling on extending the transitional takbirat and the permissible extent of this extension without excessive lengthening has been previously clarified. We add that Al-Nawawi mentioned in Sharh al-Muhadhdhab that the Sunnah for the takbir of sitting up from prostration is to begin it with the lifting of the head and extend it until one is fully seated. Its extension should be shorter than the extension of the takbir for going down into prostration, due to the shorter interval.
