Is it obligatory to visit or contact relatives when there is a fear of disturbing them due to their preoccupation with studies and exams?

Maintaining kinship ties is one of the most obligatory duties and greatest acts of obedience. Allah has not restricted the means of doing so; rather, it is left to common practice. Therefore, maintain your kinship ties in a way that suits the time and avoids difficulty, such as visiting, or a phone call, even if for only one minute, or sending a message to inquire about their well-being and express a desire to connect if a visit is not possible.
