How sound is the Hadith: "The first heaven compared to the second heaven is but like a seed in a desert, and the second heaven compared to the third heaven is but like a seed in a desert..." and who narrated it?

The wording "The earth in relation to the first heaven is like a ring in a desert, and likewise the first heaven in relation to the heaven above it, and so on until the seventh heaven" has not been found in the collections of Sunnah (definition) nor in the books of the scholars. It was mentioned by Al-Alusi in "Ruh al-Ma'ani" without a chain of narration. Caution and verification are necessary before attributing narrations to the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, due to the prevalence of fabricated traditions.
