What is the ruling on naming an airline or tourism company "Al-Buraq"? And what is the ruling on naming an internet company or office "Thamud"?

It is permissible to use the name "Al-Buraq" for an airline, tourism company, or any other business, as long as it does not engage in forbidden activities. This is because the name is honorable and respected in Islamic law.

However, using a name like "Thamud" or similar for a company or office is not permissible, because Thamud were a people who were punished and incurred Allah's wrath. It is forbidden to enter their dwellings except in a state of weeping, for fear that what befell them might befall those who enter. Therefore, it is even more unfitting to name things after them.
