What is the ruling on buying and selling animal remains?

It is permissible to sell animal waste used as fertilizer, whether from animals whose meat is eaten (due to its purity) or from animals whose meat is not eaten (due to necessity). It is also permissible to sell parts of a ritually slaughtered animal, such as hair, horns, and skin. However, selling parts of a carcass is unanimously forbidden.
