What is the ruling on selling live animals by weight (per kilogram) for a known price, knowing that the buyer may keep them or slaughter them for sale?

There is no objection to selling permissible animals like camels, cattle, and sheep by weight, whether alive or slaughtered, due to the generality of Allah's statement: "And Allah has permitted trade and forbidden interest," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) statement: "Every righteous sale," and due to the absence of uncertainty or gharar in such a transaction.
