Borrowing with usury (riba) is forbidden and one of the gravest sins. Repentance from it is obligatory, and one must extricate oneself from the usurious transaction by returning the borrowed amount without the interest, if possible, even if it means selling the apartment and the coffee shop. If you are unable to avoid paying the interest, then there is no blame upon you for continuing to pay the installments of the loan, and your repentance is sufficient. The projects and businesses established with this loan are your property, and you are not required to dispose of them. However, if there is anything forbidden in them, such as a coffee shop where men and women mix and shisha is smoked, then these forbidden elements must be removed.
