Was Abu Jahl's daughter a disbeliever or a Muslim, and how can the problem in the hadith: "The daughter of the Messenger of Allah and the daughter of the enemy of Allah shall never be united with one man" be answered, in the event that she was a Muslim?

This Hadith is agreed upon, and in it, the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade combining his daughter Fatimah with the daughter of Abu Jahl in marriage for two reasons: First, fear of harming Fatimah, and consequently harming the Prophet (peace be upon him). Second, fear of temptation for the daughter of Abu Jahl due to jealousy. It was also said that the Prophet knew that they would not be combined. There is no evidence in the Hadith for the absolute prohibition of combining wives; rather, it is specific to combining with the daughter of the Prophet (peace be upon him) due to the harm it would cause him. Therefore, some scholars said that combining with the Prophet's daughter is among the forbidden acts.
