Does not praying in the congregation at the mosque negate the performance of the obligatory prayer?

Congregational prayer is obligatory for free, adult men. However, if one prays individually, their prayer is valid, though sinful, as congregational prayer is not a condition for the prayer's validity. Prayer is never waived for a legally responsible person except for a menstruating woman.
