Is delaying prayer beyond its prescribed time due to being preoccupied with the computer considered an oversight, or deliberate negligence, knowing that it is impossible for the questioner to let it go beyond its time under any circumstances?

You must be keen to perform congregational prayer, for all of the prayer time is a valid time to perform it, as it is an expanded obligation (wajib muwassa'). So, if you delay the prayer with the intention of performing it at the end of its time, and you resolve to do so, your action is permissible unless an impediment arises, such as death or menstruation, or if it is highly probable that you will miss it due to sleep. If you forget a prayer due to oversight, you must perform it when you remember it, and there is no sin upon you.
