What is the ruling on one who walks with a funeral procession while not performing the prayers at all?

Neglecting prayer out of laziness is a great crime and a tremendous sin. Some scholars even consider it an act of disbelief that expels one from the faith. As for abandoning prayer out of denial, it is an act of disbelief by consensus. One who neglects prayer must repent and observe Allah's obligations before it is too late.
