Is it permissible to say to someone, "May Allah prolong your days?"

The saying "May Allah prolong your days" is considered an transgression in supplication because the perpetuation of days is impossible and contradicts the words of Allah Almighty: ﴿Everyone upon the earth will perish, And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor﴾ [Ar-Rahman: 26-27] and His saying: ﴿And We did not grant to any human being before you immortality; so if you should die, would they then be immortal?﴾ [Al-Anbiya: 34].
