Why do we not find the Sunnis taking knowledge from the scholars of the Household of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt), nor do we find the opinions of the Household of the Prophet in Sunni books or the Twelve Imams among the Shiites? And why did the Sunnis and their scholars abandon the Imams of the Household of the Prophet and not take knowledge from them? And why are there no opinions or sayings from the Household of the Prophet in their books of Fiqh and knowledge? And who used to take knowledge from them when they were alive, the Sunnis or the Shiites? And are there any Hadith or opinions about the Household of the Prophet in Sunni books?

The close relationship between the Sunnis and the Ahl al-Bayt (Household of the Prophet) is highlighted by the fact that the imams of the Ahl al-Bayt received knowledge from the Sunnis, and the Sunnis received knowledge from the Ahl al-Bayt. Examples of this include:

1. Zayn al-Abidin Ali ibn al-Husayn: He narrated from senior Companions, and senior Tabi'in (successors) such as Imam al-Zuhri received knowledge from him. 2. Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir: A large number of Sunni imams, including jurists and hadith scholars, received knowledge from him. 3. Ja'far al-Sadiq: He narrated from senior Tabi'in, and imams of the schools of thought and hadith scholars, such as Abu Hanifa, Malik, and Sufyan al-Thawri, narrated from him. 4. Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Nafs al-Zakiyyah: He narrated from senior Tabi'in, and hadith narrators whom the imams authenticated narrated from him.
