The answer

The takbir (saying "Allahu Akbar") between the two prostrations is not obligatory according to the majority of scholars. Thus, if it is intentionally omitted, the prayer remains valid. However, according to the Hanbalis, it is obligatory and must be performed before the second prostration, and completing it during prostration is not sufficient. Nevertheless, some of them deemed it sufficient, and this is the view that Al-Mardawi and Ibn Uthaymeen considered correct. According to this latter view, the prayer is valid.
