What is the ruling on buying clothes that have images on them, such as a clear image of a man and a woman with blurred features, and school bags that have images of girls resembling cartoons, with the possibility of concealing the face and parts of the naked body, and what should be done with purchased items if their use is impermissible and they cannot be returned?

Photographing living beings is impermissible except out of necessity or need. If the faces in these pictures are effaced or their features obscured, then there is no harm in using clothing and bags upon which they are placed, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Do not leave any image without effacing it." Removing or completely obscuring the pictures is better.
