Is it permissible to propose to a girl who is one year older than the suitor, while she is a university student and he has stopped studying and does not have sufficient income for marriage, and does his brother's service have an effect on that?

If a girl is religious and of good character, it is recommended to marry her. Neither her studies nor lack of money should be an obstacle to marriage, as many married women successfully complete their studies, and ease in marriage is among the reasons for its blessings. As for fears and obsessions regarding the motives for marriage, they should be disregarded. If there is no positive response to the marriage proposal, then one should seek another wife and another job, especially if the current job is in a place that involves forbidden acts, due to the temptations therein that lead to prohibitions. And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.
