Names that involve a commendation of the named person, or attribute something to the Quran that is not from it—such as "Zahrat al-Qur’an" (Flower of the Quran), "Rayhanat al-Qur’an" (Basil/Sweet Basil of the Quran), and "Rikaz al-Qur’an" (Treasure of the Quran)—are disliked (makruh). It is preferred to use clear names and titles that have no ambiguity, do not imply a commendation of the named person, or risk lowering the Quran from its befitting status.
