What is the difference between: “He will forgive you for some of your sins,” and “He will forgive you your sins”?

The difference between "He will forgive you your sins" (يغفر لكم ذنوبكم) and "He will forgive you of your sins" (يغفر لكم من ذنوبكم) is that the first is general, encompassing all sins. Whereas the second, which contains "مِنْ" (of/from), holds two possibilities: either it is for partiality (tab'eediyah), meaning He will forgive some sins—those that do not involve the rights of people or those committed before faith; or it is for clarification (bayan), clarifying what God forgives, which are sins; or it is an extra particle for emphasis and strengthening. It was also said that it means "about" (عن), i.e., He will pardon you about your sins, or it is for partiality, meaning He will forgive you the grave sins.
